Our Visual Snow Guide support group, aims to bring more awareness of this condition and share perspectives on how to manage the symptoms. Although, recently there has been an increase of research on the topic, there is still much more to discover. Whether it is you, a friend, or a loved one, we need to join together and allow a better understanding of this condition.

Our Goals:

  • Build a strong and safe community.

  • Encourage more awareness about visual snow.

  • Share useful research, tips and guides on managing symptoms.

  • Thrive by actively helping others through our support groups events, tips page and journal space.

Hello, I hope you are all well!

My name is Kallel and currently studying for an MA in the Psychology of Mental Health and Wellbeing. As well as having a passion for wellness, I experience visual snow symptoms and have done so for over 20 years now. In 2022, I was officially diagnosed with palinopsia and visual migraines. The journey to get to this diagnosis has been a long process. With limited research and not much awareness of the condition, it was difficult to have a positive outlook on these symptoms.

This is my main reason for creating a Visual Snow Guide support group. We are building a positive online space, for others to share their experiences and connect specifically to this condition. I understand how frustrating it can be to explain these symptoms and may not be fully heard. This could lead to misdiagnosis or decrease the quality of your mental health. Sharing your experience can help others and improve your overall well-being!

With our Visual Snow Guide, we aim to share useful resources and provide a strong support network!
